On this page, we describe the different methods and formats available in the Invoice Distribution system in Invoicing.
Invoice via Email
One of the most common ways of delivering invoices is through email. We have therefore put a lot of effort into making this feature both easy to use and easy to adapt to each customer's needs.
The system comes with a pre-defined email address from which it is sent - and a pre-defined content in the email itself. It is therefore not necessary to spend time on a setup before you can start sending invoices via email.
If you want to change the address from which it is sent, or the content of the e-mail itself, this is done in the invoice module. The message can be customized, but at the same time generalized by using merge fields that allow you to include, for example, the customer's name and the invoice number in the email.
E-mail invoices, like EHF, support attachments, so they will automatically be delivered together with the invoice itself.
Cloud Print
Most printers now come with CloudPrint capability. The way most vendors fix this is by associating an email address with the printer in question. Customers can therefore define the printers one uses - and use them directly from the system, without having to install drivers or other software, in order to print.
