The project list report gives an overview of the projects in 24SevenOffice. You can either just search for all projects and get the complete overview by clicking Run Filter, or fill in one or more search criteria. Here is an explanation of the different search criteria.
Name
When searching by project name, you have to enter the whole word. If a project is called “Leadership Meeting 2014”, then you will not find any hits on it if you only enter “Leader” in the search box for names, then you must enter “Leadership Meeting” or “Leadership Meeting 2014”.
In the field here you can also enter a specific project number, so that you do not have to enter the same project number in the from and to field.
Number
You can search for project numbers from and to here. It is possible to enter only a from number to see all project numbers for example from 2000 onwards. The same is possible with add-on number, and get all project numbers up to number 1000. Or choose to see all project numbers between 1000-2000, by entering both from and to.
Dates
When you enter dates here, that is, the report looks up all projects created within those dates. If you choose to enter only one start date and select “Use start date”, you will get hits on all projects with start date from this date, and not projects with start date this exact date. If you only select an end date, you will see all projects that have an end date by that date.
If you choose to enter both a from date and a to date, and set the criterion to “Use start date,” then all projects with a start date from between the date and the date are selected.
When entering both from and to date and setting the criterion to "Use end date", all projects with an end date between the date and the date are selected.
Characteristics
Choose a leader
Click on the search button and the option to add project manager / project managers will appear, and you will get hits on projects with the selected project manager (s).
Choose customer owner
Enter the name of a customer owner in the search box. This is the owner of customers in CRM, and the search in the report finds the project (s) that has the person who owns the customers in CRM who are in turn linked to a project.
All statuses
The search applies to search for projects with statuses that are set under the Properties tab of each project. If a project status is not set up, you will not find the project using this search criterion. The statuses are managed in the project settings on the front of the project module.
Choose a participant
Here you add one or more participants to a project. If you add more than one participant, the result comes up with the projects the participants are involved in, and will emphasize that the participants do not have to be part of the same projects, but that there may be different projects.
All types
This search box applies to project type. The types are added to projects in the Properties tab. If a type is not set up on a project, you will not find the project using this search criterion. The types are managed in the project settings on the front of the project module.
All understatues
Sub-statuses can also be set up per project in the Properties tab of the project. If a sub-status has not been set up for a project, you will not find the project using this search criterion. The sub-states manage the project settings on the front of the project module.
Data filter
The data filter on from and to date only applies to certain fields in the report. The projects to be listed in the report are selected in the fields under names, numbers, dates and properties, while data filters decide what will come out of information in the following columns:
o Hours total
o Billable hours
o% Billable
o Invoiced hours
o% Invoiced
o Hours left
o Hourly amount left to bill
o Hourly cost
o Invoiced registered costs

o #Canceled tasks (data filter based on start date)
o # Tasks left (data filter based on start date)
o Total estimate (data filter based on start date)

The data filter retrieves data based on the start date and end date of tasks in the projects, hours and costs for the current time period, and so on. Thus, all data recorded for the projects in the data filter period listed in these columns.
