Examples of Approval List
Below are various examples of what an Approval List can look like and what the different layouts mean. The parallel folder can be accessed by clicking on the icon with two people. The folder At least one can get up by first creating a Parallel folder, highlighting it and then clicking on the icon with two people left.
1. Easy setup
Here, Kristoffer Sørensen must approve before Petter Bye is given the opportunity to approve, Petter Bye must approve before Kim Engen can approve, and Kim Engen must again approve before Rune Lunden gets approval. Only when all of these have been approved will it be possible to post the document in Accounting.
2. Parallel
Here, Kristoffer Sørensen must approve before the annex becomes available for approval by both Kim Engen and Petter Seeberg simultaneously. Both Kim Engen and Petter Seeberg must then approve the annex before moving on to Petter Bye. Once Petter Bye has also approved the document, it will be possible to post it in Bookkeeping.
3. At least one
Here, Kristoffer Sørensen must approve before the annex becomes available for approval by Bjørn Brustad and Joakim Løberg at the same time. Only one of the persons in the At least one folder, Bjørn or Joakim, must approve the appendix, and this goes according to the principle of first come, first served. Once either Bjørn or Joakim have approved, Petter Bye will have the voucher available for approval. After Petter Bye has approved, it will be possible to post the annex in Bookkeeping.
4. Advanced setup
In this case, Kristoffer Sørensen must approve the annex before it becomes available for approval by both Bjørn, Joakim, Rune and Nina at the same time. Both Rune and Nina must approve the annex, while either Bjørn or Joakim have to approve for it to get approval from Petter. All persons under the Parallel folder will therefore receive the attachment for approval at the same time, regardless of whether they are directly in the folder or in a subfolder.
